After years of playing soccer growing up, my sophomore year I developed a new passion: baking. I was devastated when I caught mono that year and could no longer participate in my favorite activity. In order to fill my sudden free time I turned to binge-watching Food Network shows; after hours upon hours of watch-time I was convinced I could do what the pastry chefs on television were doing. Seeing my excitement for the prospect my Dad signed me up to make a cake for my soccer team’s end of the year banquet, after that I was HOOKED. Everyone loved my cake so much that they began placing orders with me for birthdays, graduation, bridal showers, etc. you name it and they were ordering it! 

 

After graduating high school, I attended Johnson & Wales University Charlotte as a Baking & Pastry Food Service Management major with a minor in Meeting & Event Management , and was accepted into Alain Ducasse's Ecole Nationale Superieure de Patisserie in France for my senior year study abroad.  Since graduating, I have had the pleasure of working along side many talented chefs and learning new skills from each one.

 

Since then, I’ve moved from Florida to Virginia, got married, and settled in my life up here. Finally, I have decided to share Sprinkles On Top Bake Shop with the Northern Virginia, Maryland, and surrounding areas!  I am excited to create cakes, cookies, and other sweet treats for you, your friends, and family! I am here for all of your sweet needs, and always remember: Everything is better with Sprinkles On Top!
